Our next Mom Central meeting will be December 11th at 6pm. Second floor of Central Baptist Church of Bearden-rooms are right off the central staircase. We will be having Christie Elkins come and speak with us. She is a blogger for Knox Moms Blog. We hope you can join us and as always you can bring a friend! Moms of all ages welcome!

Pinterest party!! This Thursday November 20th!

This Thursday is our Pinterest party in which we will be making one of three crafts! We will be meeting in the FAC(Family activities center) at CBCB at 6:30pm. Can't wait to get our craft on!  See you then!

Reminder that tomorrow is our next meeting with Julie Sanders as our speaker on what is "enough" in our lives. 6pm dinner first then meeting start around 6:30. 2nd floor of  Central Baptist Church of Bearden.

Last Thursday's meeting and wrap up!

We had such a great time Thursday night! Melissa Willis led us in a devotional on the real meaning of a blessing and then we made gratitude/blessing boxes to share with our families. We have some very creative mommies on our group!  We will write down what we are thankful for over the next month and place it in our boxes and read them at Thanksgiving.  Thank you to all who could join us and for Kara and Melissa for the last minute devotion/craft. We hope you can make it to our next meeting which is Nov.13th and Mom's night out October 21st at the Cheesecake Factory.  Come join us for dinner (or just cheesecake) at 6:30pm that night for a little social time and good food! 

Thursday October 9th our next meeting!

This Thursday we have a slight change in plans! Officer Line has to be in court at that time so we will reschedule his talk on internet safety for another time. Instead our preschool and children's ministers Kara and Melissa will be leading us in a devotion on gratitude and we will be making a Thanksgiving/Blessing box as a craft to take home to our families. We hope you can join us this Thursday October 9th at 6pm Room 202-206 at CBCB! See you there!

Moms Night out-Monday Sept. 22nd 6:30pm-Postponed

Our upcoming Mom's night out will be at Sheree Johnson's house and we are having a pool party! Even if it is not warm enough to swim, please come and hang out with us as we still will get together.. Address is 1008 Westmoreland Blvd 37919 . Come anytime starting at 6:30pm. Bring a dessert or appetizer. Hope to see you all there!

 Looking ahead: Our next official meeting is October 9th at 6pm. Our speaker will be Chris Line who will be discussing Internet safety and our children. Invite a friend and come join us!

Great first meeting - getting to know you

We had a wonderful first meeting. To help us mingle we had a scavenger hunt and took selfies of our locations we had to find! Pizza and salad and cupcakes were also enjoyed. A great time of socializing to kick off our new semester! Save the date for our first moms night out Sept. 22nd. We will be having a pool party!  Stay tuned for all the details in our next blog post.

Our first meeting of the 2014 Fall Semester of Mom Central is September 11th at 6pm! We will have dinner available as well as childcare birth through Grade 5. We meet in room 202-206 CBCB. Please register on this blog as you don't want to miss a great new year! Invite a mommy friend and join us to socialize, learn about issues pertaining to motherhood and childrearing and to get refreshed and a break from it all! Hope to see you then!
